BOV Shrimp
 The Bail-Out Valve
BOV Shrimp is a CC/OC Bail-out Valve with a 2nd stage regulator incorporated into theÂ
mouthpiece with the ability of supplying the diver with open circuit breathing gas whenÂ
needed.
The CC/OC valve allows to easily and fast switch between the close circuit (the CC mode)Â
and the open circuit (OC mode) by one hand. It is operated by rotating the knob on theÂ
front of the BOV.
When the BOV is switched to the CC mode – the breathing loop is open via the mouthpieceÂ
and allows the diver to breathe on the rebreather closed circuit.Â
When the BOV is switched to the OC mode – the breathing loop is closed and allows the
diver to breathe on open circuit via the 2ndÂ
stage regulator. In this position no water canÂ
enter the breathing loop even when the BOV isÂ
out of the diver’s mouth and submerged.
The 2nd stage regulator has an adjusting knobÂ
allowing to adjust optimal breathing resistance.
One-way directional valves (mushroom valves)Â
provide and ensure the correct breathing gasÂ
circulation in the breathing loop in the correctÂ
direction from the inhalation counterlung to theÂ
exhalation counterlung. If needed, the flowÂ
direction can be changed by reversing the mushroomÂ
valves in the BOV.
Breathing hoses are connected to the BOV via the unique and secure Click-Lock BayonetÂ
Cuplers. There is impossible to connect the breathing hoses incorrectly due to differentÂ
keying on each bayonet connector on the loop.
BOV Shrimp is compatible with most known CCR units, just use the right set of Couplers.Â
There are available couplers for Hammerhead, JJ-CCR, MEG, KISS, Optima, Isnpiration/Â
Evolution, rEvo, SF2, Titan and another customs made Couplers.
SM BOV Neo
The side-mount Bail-Ot Valve
SM BOV Neo is a Bail-out Valve with a 2nd stageÂ
regulator incorporated into the mouthpiece withÂ
the ability of supplying the diver with openÂ
circuit breathing gas when needed.
SM BOV Neo is primarily intended for FLEX2 CCRÂ
side-mount unit.
The CC/OC valve allows easily and fast to switchÂ
between the close circuit (the CC mode) and theÂ
open circuit (OC mode) by one hand. It isÂ
operated by rotating the knob on the front of the SM BOV.
When the SM BOV is switched to the CC mode –Â
the breathing loop is open via the mouthpieceÂ
and allows the diver to breathe on the rebreatherÂ
closed circuit.
When the SM BOV is switched to the OC mode –Â
the breathing loop is closed and allows the diverÂ
to breathe on open circuit via the 2nd stageÂ
regulator. In this position no water can enter theÂ
breathing loop even when the BOV is out of theÂ
diver’s mouth and submerged.
One-way directional valves (mushroom valves) provide and ensure the correct breathing gasÂ
circulation in the breathing loop in the correct direction from left to right, from the inhalationÂ
counterlung to the exhalation counterlung.
The SM BOV 2nd stage regulator is supplied with diluent via the LP hose running parallel to theÂ
breathing hoses and connected to the Diluent MAV via the Shut-Off Valve.
Breathing hoses are connected to the SM BOV via the
unique and secure Click-Lock Bayonet Connectors. It is
impossible to connect the breathing hoses incorrectly
due to different keying on each bayonet connector
on the loop.
The DSV Shrimp is a Diver Supply Valve allowing to open and close the mouthpiece of theÂ
breathing loop. It is operated by rotating the knob on the front of the SM DSV by one hand.
When the SM DSV is switched to the OPEN mode – the breathing loop is open via the mouthpieceÂ
and allows the diver to breathe on the rebreather closed circuit.
When the SM DSV is switched to the CLOSE mode – the breathing loop is closed and in this positionÂ
no water can enter the breathing loop even when the BOV is out of the diver’s mouth and submerged.
One-way directional valves (mushroom valves) provide and ensure the correct breathing gasÂ
circulation in the breathing loop in the correct direction from the inhalation counterlung to theÂ
exhalation counterlung. If needed, the flow direction can be changed by reversing the mushroomÂ
valves in the BOV.
Breathing hoses are connected to the SMÂ
DSV via the unique and secure Click-LockÂ
Bayonet Connectors with one L-90° Coupler.
It is impossible to connect the breathingÂ
hoses incorrectly due to different keying onÂ
each bayonet connector on the loop.
DSV Shrimp is compatible with mostÂ
known CCR units, just use the right set ofÂ
Couplers.
There are couplers for Hammerhead, JJ-CCR,Â
MEG, KISS, Optima, Isnpiration/Â
Evolution, rEvo, SF2, Titan and more.
SM DSV
the Side-mount Diver Surface Valve
The SM DSV is a Diver Supply Valve allowing toÂ
open and close the mouthpiece of theÂ
breathing loop. It is operated by rotating theÂ
knob on the front of the SM DSV by one hand.
When the SM DSV is switched to the OPENÂ
mode – the breathing loop is open via theÂ
mouthpiece and allows the diver to breatheÂ
on the rebreather closed circuit.
When the SM DSV is switched to the CLOSE
mode – the breathing loop is closed and in
this position no water can enter the
breathing loop even when the BOV is
out of the diver’s mouth and submerged.
One-way directional valves
(mushroom valves) provide and
ensure the correct breathing
gas circulation in the breathing
loop in the correct direction from
left to right, from the inhalation
counterlung to the exhalation
counterlung.
Breathing hoses are connected to the SM DSV
via the unique and secure Click-Lock Bayonet
Connectors with one L-90° Coupler.
It is impossible to connect the breathing hoses incorrectly
due to different keying on each bayonet connector on the loop.
SM DSV is compatible with side-mount CCR units FLEX1, FLEX2, T-REB, SF2 as well asÂ
another units if there are used customs made Couplers.
